The Center for Strength-Based Strategies (CSBS) has become the leader across the United States for the development and delivery of training for Strength-based Practice. We are proud to champion direct practice and all our trainings are geared for the learning transfer of “how to’s” and the application of a Strengths approach for one-to-one direct services.
A quick review of our past clients in the “Summaries and Resources” section demonstrates how the CSBS has become the national training authority in this practice orientation. We have trained groups large and small, those working with different ages (adolescents/adults), the different modalities of individuals, groups or families, and across multiple professional disciplines: -
Child Welfare -
Criminal Justice -
Drug Courts -
Juvenile Justice | Mental Health -
Substance Abuse -
Youth & Families |
Our trainings are all established by request. We are contacted by agencies, schools, courts, community organizations, hospitals and state or federal departments and the training/consultations are then arranged onsite at locations/days/times that fit the schedule of the hosting organization.
For training in Strength-based Practice, our Center offers two 2-day institutes (four days total):
Training Institute – Phase I Strength-based Practice: Moving From High-Risk to High-Yield Training Institute – Phase II Strength-based Practice: The Next Steps
